-free write- make heart map with computer paper three hole punched/check spelling words
-finish/share Story Map 2 of "Broken Chain" in small groups
-read aloud student questions about "The Last Rung on the Ladder" without names
-discuss the quality of questioning and effort put forth
-give papers back and write more thought provoking questions in small groups of 3-4
-share your group's questions with the large groups and discuss

7th Grade
-turn in clay writing with best copy on top and proper heading in the upper right
-free write- make heart map with computer paper three hole punched/check spelling words
-finish/share Story Map 2 of "Broken Chain" in small groups

-review of things we will need or want to read both inside and outside of school
-read "Video Game Lets Players Fight as Taliban Soldiers"
